INDUCTION BASE FLUIDICS VIDEO

Video of 8 Channel IFB, 50 nL dispenses.

		           Video 48 Channel,48 Liquid Dispense,
 			5 X in12 sec, 100nL/disp.

Induction based fluidics employs electric induction to energize and to transport liquids with the highest throughput across the widest dynamic range (uL/sec to pL/sec)  at the lowest cost per channel of any technology on the planet. It has no moving parts, no joule heating and no adverse electrochemistry. In the older video below, a 48 channel, 48 liquid dispense in 12 seconds and a slower 8 channel, single liquid dispense is shown. Rapid ONE MOVE (!)  96 and higher channel dispenses are possible and economical, yielding extremely high throughput at very low cost. Nobody beats this throughput at any cost!

This simple technology has been described as "elegant" by the Director of R&D of one the the largest instrument firms in the world. One can consider it the chemical equivalent of the ink jet which, prima facie, has outstanding accuracy and precision at low cost. IBF is essentially a testimony to the beauty and simplicity of the electric field, and how it transmits energy through space and conductors and non-condutors.
